2017 RIC-WHF Military Sports Camp
All Day Event
It's our 10th anniversary!!! RIC-WHF Military Sports Camp is designed for injured military personnel with a primary physical disability. Introductory level athletes are invited to learn from elite level coaches while enjoying all that Chicago has to offer. All individuals who have or are currently serving in the US Armed Forces and now have a primary physical disability are welcome to apply.

The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC) and the Wounded Heroes Foundation (WHF) will host their 10th Annual Military Sports Camp in Chicago, IL on July 6 - 10, 2017. We welcome your application and appreciate your interest in participating.
About the Camp
The primary goal of RIC-WHF Military Sports Camp is to provide an introductory level sport experience for veterans and active duty military personnel with a primary physical disability. In the past, camp has offered many different sport experiences including; Archery ● Biathlon ● Cycling ● Field ● Judo ● Kayaking ● Rock Climbing ● SCUBA ● Sled Hockey ● Swimming ● Wheelchair Basketball ● Golf ● Wheelchair Softball ● and more! Each sport session will be led by an elite level facilitator so attendees have the opportunity to learn from highly skilled instructors. This year, RIC-WHF Military Sports has the unique opportunity to partner with Warrior Games. Participants will get the opportunity to watch a gold medal match and even attend the closing ceremonies of the games.
Flights, lodging, meals, local ground transportation, instruction, and program expenses will be provided at no cost to those accepted to attend.
